Co-Founder & Partner
Aaron is an Emmy Award & Critics Choice Award-winning producer. Prior to launching APG Pictures, Aaron opened and ran the unscripted department of Storied Media Group where he headed the Unscripted Department - developing & producing original and IP based projects in conjunction with SMG’s publication partners (The Washington Post, NPR, The Guardian, Wall Street Journal, Gannett/Gatehouse, Hearst, New Republic, Bloomberg, The Smithsonian Institute, Dow Jones, Daily Mirror, Daily Beast, The New York Times, Bloomberg, Huffington Post, Financial Times, Tsuddeutche Zeitung, The Sydney Morning Herald, McClatchy, Reforma, South China Post, Times of Israel, etc.). Prior to SMG, Aaron was an Executive at Thinkfactory Media where he oversaw Current, Development, Digital, Casting and Staffing. Before Thinkfactory, Aaron was a seasoned showrunner and non-fiction director / producer. Aaron worked to develop and sell 50+ series, launch & oversee 30+ series, and show-run over a dozen series. Aaron has over 20 years experience in the industry where he began working in scripted content as a writer/director. Since his segue into the unscripted world, Aaron has produced in near every sub-genre of non-fiction programming from; Space Launch Live (Emmy award-winning live programming across all Discovery Networks), The Amazing Race (4 Emmy wins during tenure), launched Undercover Boss (Nominated for Emmy during tenure), R&B Divas: Atlanta (GLAAD award winner), On the Road In America (critically acclaimed international documentary series) to Crime Of The Century (Critics Choice Award winning HBO documentary), amongst many others. Aaron has deep relationships with networks, producers, studios, brands, publications, and award-winning filmmakers/talent that has allotted the privilege to partner with an array of award-winning & diverse talent from; Alex Gibney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Paul Giamatti, Leslie Iwerks, to Trevor Noah, Conan O’Brien, Katy Perry and Director X. Fishman also consulted for the US and Afghan governments to build the television and film infrastructure in Afghanistan (2005-2007). Aaron is a proud graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he frequently guest lectures in the undergraduate and graduate Cinematic Arts program - Fight On!
